The Instrument
"Guitar"
At Lindeblad School of Music we are dedicated to providing the right tools to foster the highest musical potential in every student. All guitar students are taught systematically in the following areas: technique, musicianship, sight-reading and theory. Beginner students start with a traditional classical guitar playing approach. Students wanting to pursue electric and acoustic guitar studies focusing on genres like pop, rock or jazz are encouraged to tailor a personalized curriculum with their instructor based on the same motto of discipline and with the same serious approach of study but with the freedom of exploring different musical forms.

"I learned to play the guitar when I was 14. I put it down and I didn’t pick it up again until my son was born. It’s the best thing I ever did cause I get to jam out with my kids now. It’s just an amazing feeling." - Rich from Cedar Grove NJ
"Learning to play and be a musician myself has taken my joy to a new level." - Ken from West Caldwell NJ
"The discipline that’s required and learned through practicing will definitely carry on with me to other facets of my life." - Dan from Fairfield NJ
