Registration Fee
New Students Registration fee is $75 for one student. Or, $99 one-time fee for multiple instrument registration or multiple family member enrollment. For non-LSM student, $15 convenience fee will be applied for one-time ‘A la carte’ lesson.
Tuition
Private lessons continue year-round with tuition pro-rated to reflect the school calendar and students starting mid-month. Tuition is due the 1st of each month and charged through the monthly payment system. For late payment, $35/late fee will be applied after the 7th of the month. For cash/check payment, a deposit of one-month tuition is required at registration. Tuition is non-refundable.
Monthly Tuition (4 lessons) starting at: $168 /15min, $288 /30min, $408 /45min, $528 /60min
Discount
$5 tuition discount per lesson for each additional family member & multiple instrument registered.
Lesson Rescheduling Policy
Our teachers are in high demand and have reserved your scheduled weekly lessons time for you. We cannot guarantee their availability for your rescheduled lessons but can look into options if the following procedures are completed:
The rescheduling deadline is 24 hours in advance notice. Monday students must contact us by 4pm on the previous Saturday. as school is closed on Sunday. Without prior notice, lessons will be forfeited with no credit. No make-ups for a la carte lessons.

Emergency Cancellations
We allow two same day cancellations per year (September – August). Call our office ASAP. Without prior notice, lessons will be forfeited with no credits or refunds.
Make-up Lessons
Make-up lessons must be taken within 30 days from the initial missed date with current teacher or other LSM instructor based on availability. Make-up lesson cannot be rescheduled or credited.
Withdrawal/Leave of Absence:
Forms may be picked up at the front desk, or click HERE for a form. The completed form is due at least 4 weeks prior to planned withdrawal or leave of absence. All payments are due at the submission of the form. Verbal requests and/or emails will not be honored.
Private lessons at LSM will continue over the summer. If you have plans to travel or would like to take a short break from lessons, please let us know via the Summer Leave of Absence form HERE. There are two leave options on the form, please read carefully and submit to the office with 4 weeks prior notice.
Photo/Video/Audio Releases:
LSM may take photographs/videos of classes, students and student performances for use in our publications and on our website for development and promotional purposes. All photographs are taken and used in a professional manner only.
Miscellaneous:
Inappropriate behavior or irregular lesson attendance may result in probation or termination of enrollment. The school does not assume responsibility for unattended students. The Lindeblad School of Music is not liable or responsible for any personal belongings left on school premises. The right to take any legal action for injury sustained on school property is waived.

Electronic Communications Between Teaching Staff Member and Students For the purposes of this Policy, “electronic communication” means a communication transmitted by means of an electronic device including, but not limited to, a telephone, cellular telephone, computer, computer network, personal data assistant, laptop or tablet. “Electronic communications” include, but are not limited to, e-mails, text messages, instant messages, and communications made by means of an Internet website, including social media and social networking websites (facebook, instagram, whats app, tiktok, etc). The teacher will communicate primarily and directly with the parent(s) or legal guardian (s) of minor students. It is not appropriate for the teacher to rely on messages passed through the minor student, nor to communicate with the minor through social media platforms. All emails and texts between a teaching staff and a student must be sent or received through the parent(s)’ or guardian(s)’ email account or parent(s) or guardian(s) to be copied on the email or text. The content of all emails and texts between a teaching staff and a student shall be limited to the staff member’s professional responsibilities regarding the student.
