Jacqueline Schiller
Piano Faculty
Jacqueline Schiller loves teaching piano to all levels and ages, and she is thrilled to join the faculty of the Lindeblad School of Music, starting 2025.
As an avid recitalist and chamber musician, Jackie has performed in the New York Philharmonic chamber music series at Merkin Hall, the Bruno Walter Auditorium, the Soho Guggenheim, the Roerich Museum, and the Donnell Library. She has also performed at St. Martin in the Fields in London.
Jackie has appeared as soloist with many orchestras including Virtuosi da Camera, Adelphi Chamber Orchestra, Hoboken Chamber Orchestra, Wayne Chamber Orchestra, North Jersey Symphony and Philharmonic, and Metropolitan Orchestra, among others. Her performance of the Martinu Double concerto for piano, timpani, and two string orchestras – with the Martinu Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall – was recorded and released on Elysium records.
A founding member of the Alacorde Piano Trio and a member of the All-Seasons Chamber Players and the piano duo Double Take, Jackie is a graduate of The Juilliard School and The Mannes College of Music. She has also participated in the renowned music festivals of Aspen, Tanglewood, Musicisti Americani in Sulmona, Italy, and the Alfred Summer Institute.
Currently a member of the Federation of Music Clubs, Music Educators Association, and Professional Music Teachers Guild of NJ, she is an active adjudicator for these organizations.
Among her recordings are a solo CD featuring works by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Gottschalk. She has also released two recordings with the professional violinist members of her family.
