Ms. Diana Zalesnaya

Piano Faculty

Diana Zalisna graduated from the Lysenko Kyiv Special Music Secondary School for Gifted Children, where she studied under the mentorship of Professor Larisa Vakarina. Ms.Zalisna earned her Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy under the guidance of Professor Tetyana Roschina at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. She went on to complete her Master's degree in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy, studying with Professor Eleonora Tkach at the same institution.

Pianist Diana Zalisna has performed on renowned stages across Europe and the United States, both as a soloist and chamber musician. She has also received top awards in international piano competitions, including the NTD Piano Competition (New York, 2024), the 21st Century Art Competition (Kyiv, 2018, 2020) and the Classic Meridian Competition (Kyiv, 2014).

In addition to her active performance career, Ms. Diana Zalisna is a dedicated educator, teaching students at all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. Her pedagogical approach focuses on developing strong technical foundations, precise tone production, and expressive musical interpretation, fostering both the technical and artistic growth of her students.
