Kindermusik/Little Mozarts Program Scheduling, Attendance, and Make-ups:

Tuition covers 10 weeks of weekly 45-minute classes. No refunds will be given for missed classes. In case of student absence(s), student may attend other classes of the same level/age group depending on availability.

Photo/Video/Audio Releases:

From time to time LSM takes photographs of classes, students, and student performances for use in our publications and on our website for development and promotional purposes. All photographs are taken and used in a professional manner only.

Private Lesson Program Scheduling:

Lessons are available six days a week in 30 min., 45 min., 60min., and 90 min. time slots and are scheduled weekly at established times during the day or evening Monday-Saturday. We can help you find a time and day that works best for your schedule. Ask at the front desk about available instructors and scheduling information.

Private Lesson-Program Rates:

Our program rates are very competitive with what you could expect to pay for ongoing private lessons in the greater New Jersey area and are as follows:

Private Lesson Program for Piano/Guitar/Voice/Electric Bass:

All of our lesson programs are based on a month-to-month commitment. Payment is due on a monthly basis in advance of the first lesson of the month. If a student begins lessons in the middle of the month, we will pro-rate the number of lessons before the beginning of the first full month.

$180/month for 30-min. lessons; $240/month for 45-min. lessons; $300/month for 60-min. lessons

This is based on four lessons per month. An additional lesson (when there is a 5th week) will be billed separately on a prorated basis ($45 for 30min; $60 for 45min; $75 for 60min; $105 for 90min). If there are less than four lessons in the month due to holidays or school closings, a credit will be issued (for the above stated amounts).

Family/Multiple Instruments Discount:

Additional family members/multiple instruments receive a $20 per month ($5/per lesson) discount off above rates.

Refer a Friend Discount:

Refer a friend to become a Lindeblad School of Music student and you will both receive $50 towards tuition.

Private Lesson-Cancellation Policy:

We require one-month notice from the seventh day of the prior month to discontinue lessons. The school office must be informed directly of this change. If no notice is given by the seventh day of the prior month, then the student/parent will be responsible for the next full month’s tuition, no exceptions.

Private Lesson-Payment forms:

All students are required to enroll in our auto-bill program unless there is a trial period, after which enrollment will be required. This is a safe, secure and convenient way to pay ongoing fees while enrolled at the school. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and ATM Cards. We will automatically bill your card on the 3rd day of every month. For multiple students and/or lessons we will bill your card separately for each student/instructor with whom lessons are being taken.

Private Lesson-Missed Lessons and Make-Up Policy:

LSM faculty members are high in demand both as professional educators and performers. Your assigned lesson time has been reserved for you each week on your instructor’s schedule. Although, there are no official make-up lessons offered, and there are no credits or refunds given for student-missed lessons, our instructors may give a courtesy make-up lesson based on their schedule availability. In order to be considered for a Courtesy Make-Up Lesson, the student or parent must contact the school at least 24 hours in advance if a known absence is coming, or ASAP in the event of a last minute unforeseen illness/accident/emergency. If you do not call in advance, you will forfeit the lesson, no exceptions. Once a Courtesy Make-Up Lesson has been scheduled, no additional lesson will be offered if you cancel the scheduled Make-Up Lesson for any reason. To schedule a make up lesson, please contact the school office. If the available time slots don’t work, you may choose to schedule a lesson with a substitute instructor, attend a performance workshop or an ensemble class. Lessons for any teacher absence will be covered either by a substitute during the regularly scheduled time, or your teacher will make arrangements to do a pre, or post make up.
